QUALIFICATIONS AND CPD

BA (Hons) Humanities degree - 3 years

This was a rigorous training that taught me a range of ways of working with clients.  Groupwork, one to one work, lectures and undergoing indepth work in my own process and healing.  I have found that my training has given me  a broad and varied palette to bring to my clients, as this approach is eclectic.  This level of spontaneity makes the work very real and alive.

My Continuing Professional Development has included:

  • specific training to work with Adult Survivors of Sexual Abuse
  • specialist training to work with addiction issues, drugs and alcohol
  • specialist Post Graduate training to work with adults effected by a public school education
  • Gender and Identity - how our understanding of this from childhood effects our relationships
  • Currently training with Nick Duffell to run ABSS (Association of Boarding School Survivors) workshops
  • along with this and supporting this process I have been in my own personal therapy for a period of 10 years now and the learning I have done through this has been invaluable.
